Amazon Prime Now to the rescue
When all the weather forecasters predicted that we were going to get about 2 - 4" of snow, I figured I better stack up while I could. I knew I would be working from home the next day, so I prepared my Prime Now order.
For those of you that do not know what Prime Now is, it's a service where Amazon basically can get you just about anything you need in a few hours. You will pay for the delivery and maybe tip your driver, but I've had things delivered in 1 hour. That's if this is something they store in their warehouse.
So, I got a few provisions as I knew it would be pandemonium in the stores. I was very happy I did. This was the first time I ordered eggs, so I was very nervous. They were unbroken albeit vertical in the bag. I really haven't shopped for great amounts of items since Prime Now came to the area. Some items are a little more expensive but I have found most to be on par or cheaper than what can be found in the local Walmart. Once they start offering more food choices, I will increase my orders.
